Strategic Support for Schools

Working alongside school and Multi-Academy Trusts leaders, to review SEND and inclusion, align practice with the latest DfE expectations. This includes whole-school reviews, action planning, policy development and coaching for SENCos. 

Inclusion & SEND Offer

Delivering insightful guidance and bespoke training workshops to ensure schools meet their legal duties while strengthening and cultivating inclusive practice to improve outcomes for children and young people spaces with SEND.

Person-Centred Support for Children & Young People

I provide person-centred advice to help children and young people understand their needs, have their voice heard and access the right support in education. My work focuses on realistic, strengths-based plans that improve day-to-day learning and long term outcomes.

Guided Support for Family Members

I navigate families through the intricate SEND system, ensuring full awareness of statutory rights. Serving as a liaison with school staff, I assist in drafting key paperwork and preparing for reviews to ensure children receive local excellence.

Janet Bilbrough is an expert practitioner with over twenty years in both mainstream and special secondary school settings. A creative and collaborative SENCO and Mental Health Lead, a strategic leader dedicated to cultivating cultures and spaces for successful inclusion and SEND to thrive.​

I work alongside schools, MATs, young people and families to build, practical, sustainable SEND and inclusion practice.  My approach is centred on open dialogue, professional trust, and practical action plans that enable every learner to navigate their educational journey with certainty and self-belief.
